M I S S I O N   G R A B

PLATFORM: Oculus Rift + Leap Motion, TIME: 2 weeks, ROLE: Programmer

 

This is a virtual reality game, in which the guest’s role is an astronaut trying to survive space crash caused by asteroid hit and repair the spaceship with his own hands, detected by Leap Motion.


The goal of this project is to build an intuitive experience leading naive player to complete the tasks without many instructions. 


As a programmer, I implemented the game state, floating object behavior, special feedbacks to enhance indirect control (fig 1, 2, 3), and configured the physics engine.
